Radon Measurement

Because there is no way to sense or predict radon concentrations in the air we breathe, protection against cancer caused by radon depends upon reliable technical measurements.

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers and the second leading cause of lung cancer in the general population. In U.S. homes, radon causes approximately 21,000 lung cancer deaths each year. Whether at home, work or school, an individual’s exposure to radon gas builds over time to increase the risk of lung cancer.

BBG offers comprehensive radon detection and measurement for all commercial property types across all 50 states. Clients appreciate our high-quality, professional reports and efficient delivery timelines.

Radon measurement can be used to determine whether a building needs mitigation and to evaluate the success of an installed mitigation system.

BBG provides quality radon measurements, following nationally recognized ANSI/AARST standards and adhering to quality assurance protocols. All measurements are taken by qualified professionals who are nationally certified by the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) and state licensed where required.

Client Benefits

BBG’s site-specific measurement and quality assurance project plans are in compliance with the national standard. We take the time to educate the client team on measurement requirements, notify tenants and answer questions before any on-site activities take place. It is this care and attention to detail that sets BBG apart.
