Ms. Doerner has over 15 years of experience in the environmental and engineering due diligence industry. As the Executive Managing Director of Operations for BBG Assessment, Ms. Doerner is responsible for the development and implementation of operational processes to drive sustainable growth across BBG’s assessment service line. She oversees the workflow process and is responsible for creating and implementing staff performance and quality evaluations to ensure a consistent, high quality report is delivered every time. With over 10 years dedicated to supporting commercial real estate clients in NYC, Ms. Doerner has been able to use her prior experience to develop procedures that streamline the due diligence process. She has created processes that enhance the customer’s ability to obtain salient data and details quickly so that informed decisions can be made.

Eric P. Haims is a Managing Director at BBG, Inc. in the NYC office. With 30 years of commercial real estate appraisal and consulting experience, he has appraised thousands of commercial properties located in the Metropolitan New York area and across the country. Eric’s primary market area is the five boroughs of New York City and Eric’s secondary market area is the surrounding Counties of Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Nassau, Suffolk, as well as Southern Connecticut/Fairfield County and Northern New Jersey/Bergen, Morris, Essex and Hudson Counties. Eric’s concentration is on Valuation, Litigation and Support Services, Expert Witness Testimony, Arbitrations, Appraisal Review, Discounted Cash Flow Analysis, Estate Tax and Planning, Gift Tax, Matrimonial, Tax Appeal, Consulting, Land Valuation and the Valuation of TDRs.
Eric also specializes in the appraisal of commercial properties for both litigation and condemnation purposes pursuant to eminent domain, including assisting in the preparation of expert witness testimony for both direct and cross examination and the writing of rebuttal reports. Eric has appeared as an expert witness on real estate valuation in Federal Tax Court, the Surrogates Court of Kings County, United States Bankruptcy Court-Southern District of New York, New York State Supreme Courts in Manhattan, White Plains, Jamaica, Queens and Syracuse, New York and Supreme Court of New Jersey, Hudson County.

Susan Kominski has extensive experience in valuation, investment analysis and financing. She is currently a Senior Managing Director at BBG. Her diversified background includes a wide range of applications including commercial real estate valuations, portfolio valuations, real estate analysis, capital markets finance, mortgage loan underwriting, corporate real estate advisory and management consulting. These activities have been conducted on behalf of major financial institutions, major corporations, individual investors, and legal firms. In addition, Susan’s expertise also includes a significant appraisal management practice, including assisting clients with developing scope of work requirements. Susan has a deep understanding of capital markets underwriting parameters, enabling her to provide an improved process between appraisal firms and lenders.

Scott Cameron has 30 years of experience within the architectural and building construction industry, of which, he’s been a licensed architect for the past 23 years. Mr. Cameron’s experience includes over 20 years’ experience within the Construction and Property Condition real estate industry. He has conducted Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), Construction Status Reports (CSRs), Construction Document Reports (CDRs), Cost-to-Complete Reports (CTCs), and Construction Loan Monitoring Reports (CLMs) and Phase I environmental Site Assessments for a wide range of local and national clients, including banks, agency lenders, investment banks, life companies, law firms, and property owners. The properties he has evaluated have included private and public sectors, including hospitality, office, retail, commercial, healthcare, multifamily, K-12, higher education, industrial, and warehouse facilities. A good portion of Mr. Cameron’s experience has been managing large portfolios of construction projects where he served as the senior architect responsible for approving funds for the value of work-in-place. Mr. Cameron has also managed teams of Architects, Engineers and Construction Professionals for the completion of Property Condition Assessments and Construction Monitoring Reports.

Joseph Bonifacio,

Joseph is currently a Senior Managing Director for BBG working out of the New York office. He oversees BBG’s Property Condition Assessment Group which provides inspection and assessment services for banks, agency lenders, investment banks, life companies, and property owners. Services include facilities planning, property condition assessments, budget reviews, specialty inspections, and peer reviews of exiting real estate service reports.
He has more than 26 years of professional practice as an Architect involved in all phases of design, construction, and building assessments. This includes facilities planning, building evaluations and inspections, cost estimating, and construction oversight and administration.
He has over 12 years of experience dedicated to the real estate service industry performing in a variety of capacities, ranging from overseeing BBG’s PCA team, to managing individual client programs, to performing quality control reviews of reports, to serving as a technical resource. He has also self- performed hundreds of property condition assessments and building inspections. He currently manages and oversees BBG’s quality control review staff and the field assessment staff nationwide.
The properties he has evaluated have included multifamily, retail, office, warehouse, and self-storage, industrial, and hospitality facilities. He is experienced in assessing site improvements, building structures and envelopes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and fire/life safety systems for evidence of deferred maintenance or problematic or deleterious materials.
He also is involved in developing and advancing the overall team and implementing strategic initiatives to further insure successful client outcomes.

Jon is currently a Senior Managing Director in New York City, offering 17 years of experience analyzing all major property types throughout the Tri-State Area. Developing a specialty in Market Analysis, Jon has built a broad client base and has completed assignments conducted on behalf of foreign and domestic investment firms including major RETIS, leading financial institutions, individual investors, leading law firms, and government agencies. He has been admitted as an expert witness in the New York State Supreme Court (NY County) and has prepared numerous assignments in support of litigation.
Jon began his career as an appraiser in 2001. Gaining training and education, Jon joined Neglia Appraisals in Brooklyn as a commercial appraiser. Later, he was an Assistant Vice President at Sovereign Bank, where he served on the management team of the Appraisal Department. Jon joined Leitner Group (now BBG) in 2007.
In the last few years, Jon has consistently been the top producer while running the in-house training Program and specializing in multi-family appraisals and portfolios. Continuing his commitment to the professional development of the next generation, Jon serves as Chairman of the Internship Committee of American Immobiliare, a not-for-profit organization based in New York City which provides a forum for professionals in commercial real estate, and serves on the Board of the Metro NY Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
Assignments of note include: 7 World Trade Center, a 52-story Class-A office building; 650 Fifth Avenue, Nike’s new global flagship store; Hallett’s Point, a seven building, 2.4 million square foot multi-use development.
