Jackson is the capital and most populous city in Mississippi. Located on the Pearl River, the city is home to several major industries, including electrical equipment and machinery, processed food, and primary and fabricated metal products.

This historical city played a key role in the nation’s civil war and civil rights movement. It is also famous for music and home to the famous Malaco Records recording studio, where many notable musicians got their start.
