We are looking to add a new full-time member to our team for a rapidly growing, nationwide valuation and assessment firm. This position requires great attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

• Project set-up using an industry-specific database, including entering accurate information from available documents, creating maps, and many other tasks to set up assignments.
• Read and interpret written materials for database entry, and the composition of emails.
• Production of appraisal reports, including formatting, proofreading for spelling and grammar errors, creating invoices, keeping accurate notes in each job, and watching the job log for production needs.
• Assist the directors in the setup of proposal/engagement letters and other administrative matters as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of licenses, qualifications, and other documentation, per regulations, with direction from the corporate office.
• Respond promptly and professionally to email and phone requests for assistance from staff, clients, and vendors.

• Maintain a positive, courteous, and helpful demeanor in all personal contacts.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills and research methods.
• Ability to understand and executive complex verbal and written instructions.
• Work and communicate effectively with all other positions within the company.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience using databases and ability to master the firm’s database with initial in-office training.
• Knowledge of PDF software; knowledge of Nuance is a plus.
• The ability to multi-task accurately is essential.
• This position is on-site and in-person, however, candidates applying should have access to reliable high-speed internet as projects may require work from home occasionally to meet assignment due dates.
• Bachelor’s degree or AA preferred and/or four-plus years’ experience as an administrative assistant to executives that included office management and coordination functions are required. Knowledge of real estate appraisal or other real estate experience is preferred.

As a Project Manager, you will apply your architectural and engineering expertise to conduct property condition assessments of residential, office, retail, hospitality, industrial, healthcare, warehouse and distribution buildings for equity investors and mortgagees. This position entails assessing a building’s physical condition, interviewing personnel familiar with its operations, and preparing a written report complete with costs to remedy the physical deficiencies observed.

• Prepare Property Condition Assessments (PCA);
• Preparation of quality supporting documents (site figures, appendices, etc.);
• Conduct project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, analytical, etc.);
• Conduct walk-through surveys to assess condition of building’s major systems: site work improvements, structure and foundations, facades and roofs, HVAC, and electrical and plumbing systems;
• Interview property owners, occupants, key site personnel and local government officials to obtain information concerning the subject property’s condition;
• Take document photographs of representative systems, conditions, and physical deficiencies;
• Conduct investigative research of service contractors and government agencies;
• Review repair/improvement cost information, certificate(s) of occupancy, maintenance reports and logs, Building and Fire Department inspection reports, and similar information;
• Prepare estimated costs to remedy building deficiencies;
• Deliver outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to client needs.
• Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget;
• Effectively communicate project progress and issues with Senior Project Managers and Directors;
• Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project;
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule;
• Identify and resolve issues with projects:
• Manage multiple projects;
• Deliver outstanding client service with timely responses and proactive solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field;

This entry-level CRE Analyst opportunity offers on-the-job learning and, an education on core professional skills for the practice of commercial real estate valuation. A CRE Analyst works in close collaboration under a licensed senior appraiser to access proprietary databases and publicly available resources. This work output is used to produce appraisal reports or other valuation services for a wide variety of commercial real estate subject properties and entrusted by our clients. CRE Analysts are responsible for managing their own caseload, seeing assignments through to completion which includes but is not limited to research and compiling key data, performing market surveys, and confirming property transaction details.
