By now, I’m sure you are growing weary of receiving Coronavirus/COVID-19 updates from the numerous companies you have done business with. However, given the current demand for services, we felt it necessary to summarize the present situation at BBG. The health and safety of our clients, employees, families and vendors remains a top priority, and we are committed to serving your professional needs no matter how the situation evolves.
We are exercising an abundance of caution and allowing our team to work from home for the time being. Thanks to our advanced systems in place both from a technological (cloud software, VPN, screen sharing and videoconferencing) and logistical (all employees have home workstations that are identical to those in the office) standpoint, you should not notice any disruption in service, and work will continue as usual.
One of our biggest challenges in the current environment is keeping our field personnel safe. Luckily, we rely very little on air travel at this point with 37 offices and over 400 professionals on staff nationwide. We will continue to closely monitor and implement recommendations from the CDC and requirements from our clients. At this point we will continue to do both exterior and interior inspections (as required) of properties with an abundance of caution. Interior inspections are being limited to common areas and vacant units if at all possible. This situation has changed hourly, and we have several clients temporarily waiving their requirements for interior inspections. Our goal is to provide reliable valuation and assessment reporting, and we will continue to do that while putting the health and safety of our staff and our community as the top priority. Communication with our clients on a deal-by-deal basis has been the key to navigating this difficult time.
We greatly appreciate each of you, and remain committed to serving our clients while doing what is best for our employees and their families.
Please reach out to your BBG contact or call 877.524.1187 if you have any questions on our current policies/procedures as they pertain to active or future projects. We wish you all well as we continue to navigate through these uncharted waters.
