A Message to Our Clients

We wish you and your families well during this challenging time and would like to express our deepest gratitude to our clients and partners. Thank you for allowing us to serve all your third-party due diligence needs, including appraisals, environmental reports, property condition assessments, zoning reports, ALTA surveys and advisory services. We are exceptionally fortunate to be deemed an essential business throughout the U.S., and we continue to be fully operational even as we work from our homes.

Like many, we have endured challenges, and we continue to adapt to our temporary environment. The health and safety of our employees, clients and tenants is of utmost importance. Fortunately, clients and agencies have shown flexibility in their inspection requirements to keep our employees and the tenants safe while still allowing us to form credible and reliable opinions of value and accurate property assessment reports. Other than inspection adjustments, the disruptions in our business at BBG remain surprisingly minimal.

BBG has the following tools and processes in place for business operations and property inspections in order to continue servicing your needs:

Our teams of appraisers and assessors are located throughout the U.S. and are fully equipped and supported by IT.

Our in-house valuation and assessment teams coordinate inspections and collaborate on findings. This allows us to get the most information possible out of limited time on site and continue to provide high-quality, reliable reports.

Our job management system, database and other proprietary systems are web based, which allow our teams to access and share information instantaneously.

When it is not safe or possible to inspect the interior of a property, we can photograph the interior from windows or doorways; request interior photographs from the owner, tenant or property management; review recent PCA and ESA reports and offering memorandums; and interview owners and tenants regarding the condition and quality.

When appropriate, we are conducting virtual property tours (these may be popular even after this is over).

We will continue to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing.
