Butler Burgher Group Continues Strong Growth Trajectory

Former PwC and Deutsche Bank executives join BBG team in New York; firm recently completes strategic recapitalization

DALLAS, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ – Butler Burgher Group (BBG), a leading national commercial real estate valuation, advisory and assessment firm, announced new senior-level staff members have joined the New York office to enhance BBG’s advisory, financial reporting and appraisal review services. These positive changes are examples of growth made possible in part by the firm’s recently completed recapitalization with Silver Oak Services Partners LLC.

Louis Yorey to Lead New Advisory Services and Financial Reporting Practice for BBG

Louis Yorey MAI, MRICS joins BBG as a senior managing director and practice leader of Advisory Services. In this role, he leads the new Advisory Services group BBG and oversees the financial reporting services on a national basis. He has over 25 years of experience in real estate valuation specializing in assignments for financial reporting and REIT acquisitions and conversions. He joins BBG from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). His valuation experience includes ASC 805 valuations, REIT conversions, corporate planning and FIRPTA issues. He has provided valuation and consulting services for investment-grade properties and portfolios in local, national and international markets across all property types.

BBG Adds Former Deutsche Bank Officials to Enhance Appraisal Review Capabilities for CMBS and Other Loan Types

Andrew Babienco, MAI, MRICS, has joined BBG at the director level. He has over 36 years of experience in real estate valuation, most recently with Deutsche Bank. In this role he will provide appraisal review services for CMBS and other loan types on behalf of BBG’s financial institution clients.  His broad expertise includes appraisal, advisory and due diligence across a variety of financial channels including CMBS, conduit, bank syndication, special situations and private wealth. He has worked with loan products including balance sheet loans, conduit loans, large loans, floating rate transactions and NPL loans.

Helen Peng, MAI, MRICS, is a director in New York City. She has over 28 years of experience in real estate valuation. In this role, she will provide appraisal review services for CMBS and other loan types on behalf of BBG’s financial institution clients. She joins BBG from Deutsche Bank. Her diverse experience includes consulting, due diligence and prescreening of deals, which involved transaction assessment, cash flow analysis (Argus), market research, site visits and documentation review. She also ordered and reviewed appraisals and conducted due diligence for portfolios of all property types on a national and international basis.

BBG Completes Strategic Recapitalization with Silver Oak Services Partners, LLC

Fueling BBG’s growth is a recently completed recapitalization effort led by Silver Oak Services Partners, LLC that was completed in partnership with BBG management and co-investors.
